How to Apply a Tank Pad?

1. Clean the Surface

• Completely free the tank surface where you will apply it from dust, dirt, oil, and wax.
• Wipe with mildly soapy water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
• The surface must be completely dry.

2. Determine the Position

• Determine exactly where you want the tank pad to sit.
• If for decorative purposes, pay attention to aesthetic alignment; if for protection, consider the knee distance according to your riding position.
• You can temporarily mark its place with tape.

3. Start Peeling from the Protective Paper

• Slowly peel off the protective paper from the back of the tank pad.
• Opening it piece by piece, starting from the top, rather than all at once, makes alignment easier.
• Tank pads, side pads, and tank cap sets are included in the package for some models; you may not see them before opening the package, please open the package and check the parts.

4. Adhesion Process

• Slowly stick it from top to bottom.
• Press with your fingers or a soft cloth to prevent air from getting between the adhesive surface and the tank.

5. Final Check

• After the tank pad is fully adhered, press its edges firmly to increase adhesion strength.
