How to Apply a Tank Pad?

1. Clean the Surface

• Completely clean the tank surface where you will apply the pad from dust, dirt, oil, and wax.
• Wipe with slightly soapy water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
• The surface must be completely dry.

2. Determine the Position

• Determine exactly where you want the tank pad to be placed.
• If for decorative purposes, align aesthetically; if for protection, pay attention to the knee distance according to your riding position.
• You can temporarily mark its position with tape.

3. Start Peeling the Protective Paper

• Slowly peel off the protective paper from the back of the tank pad.
• Peeling it piece by piece starting from the top, rather than all at once, makes alignment easier.
• Tank pads, side pads, and fuel cap cover sets are included in the package for some models; you may not see them before opening the package. Please open the package and check the parts.

4. Application Process

• Apply slowly from top to bottom.
• Press with your fingers or a soft cloth to prevent air from getting between the adhesive surface and the tank.

5. Final Check

• Once the tank pad is fully applied, press down firmly on the edges to increase adhesion.
• Avoid washing your motorcycle or leaving it in direct sunlight for the first 24 hours.
