 How to Apply a Tank Pad?

1. Clean the Surface

Completely remove dust, dirt, oil, and wax from the tank surface where you will apply it.
Wipe with slightly soapy water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
The surface must be completely dry.

2. Determine the Position

Determine exactly where you want the tank pad to sit.
If for decorative purposes, pay attention to aesthetic alignment; if for protective purposes, consider knee clearance according to your riding position.
You can temporarily mark its position with tape.

3. Start Peeling the Protective Paper

Slowly peel off the protective paper from the back of the tank pad.
Opening it piece by piece, starting from the top, rather than all at once, makes alignment easier.
Tank pad, side pad, and fuel cap sets are included in the package for some models; you may not see them before opening the package, so open the package and check the parts.

4. Application Process

Apply slowly from top to bottom.
Press with your fingers or a soft cloth to prevent air from getting between the adhesive surface and the tank.

5. Final Check

Once the tank pad is fully adhered, press firmly around the edges to increase adhesion.
Avoid washing your motorcycle or leaving it in direct sunlight for the first 24 hours.
