How to Apply a Tank Pad?

1. Clean the Surface

Completely remove dust, dirt, oil, and polish from the tank surface where you will apply the pad.
Wipe with lightly soapy water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
The surface must be completely dry.

2. Determine the Position

Determine exactly where you want the tank pad to sit.
If for decorative purposes, consider aesthetic alignment; if for protection, pay attention to the knee distance according to your riding position.
You can temporarily mark its position with tape.

3. Start Peeling the Protective Paper

Slowly peel off the protective paper from the back of the tank pad.
Peeling it piece by piece, starting from the top, rather than all at once, makes alignment easier.
Tank pad, side pad, and fuel cap sets are included in the package for models that come as a set; you may not see them without opening the package, so please open the package and check the parts.

4. Adhesion Process

Slowly apply from top to bottom.
Press with your fingers or a soft cloth to prevent air from getting between the adhesive surface and the tank.

5. Final Check

After the tank pad is fully adhered, press firmly on the edges to increase its adhesive strength.
Avoid washing your motorcycle or leaving it in direct sunlight for the first 24 hours.
